SACC TOUR OF SINGAPORE 12-14 AUGUST 2011
BRIEF HISTORY
This will be the clubs 4th trip to Singapore with the score line at 3-2 in the hosts favour. The SACC has a
much better record on home soil over the years winning all 3 matches thus far, easily on all occasions.
The one match that will eventually become folklore for these tours was the 2008 tour match
where the SACC successfully chased a massive 238 run target to win a thriller on the last ball!

2011 ITINERARY
Most have indicated that they are flying into Singapore either Friday morning or afternoon.
Each tourist is responsible for their own accommodation...if you need help

We will be meeting our good friends and traditional Friday/Saturday hosts, the Singapore Misfits,
at Molly Malones on Friday evening.
Time to be confirmed but this little soiree usually gets underway with a few cold ones at around 4-5pm.
Molly Malones is at 56 Circular Road, Singapore (located near the famous Boat Quay area).

Tour Match 1
SATURDAY, 13th August
Singapore Misfits vs SACC XI
Venue: Ceylon Sports Club - 101 Balastier Road, Singapore. Ph: (+65) 6297 1009 - see map below
Match Time: 1pm sharp
Uniform: 2010-11 SACC strip (green and gold with ANZ and Phatty's logos)
Pitch: Artificial - no spikes
Following the match, traditionally our hosts provide dinner and a few beers on the the ground
as the sun sets - before we hit the Singapore night spots for the evening!
Tour Match 2
SUNDAY, 14th August
SCC Saturday XI vs SACC XI
Venue: SCC Dempsey Field - Harding Road, see map below
Match Time: 11am sharp
Uniform: SACC whites. 20 sets have been produced for the Tour and are 20USD per set.
Pitch: Artificial - no spikes
Post-match festivities to be confirmed.....usually kicks of with a few beers with the SCC lads
on the balcony overlooking the Padang - see map below.
